How to Make Suji Nastha with spicy stuffingat Home

Namaste! Today we will make Idli bomb.

Big-round Spinach idli stuffed with spicy stuffing.

1 Idli=Breakfast

2 Idli= Full Meal

Let’s get started!

Begin with making the batter.

Take 1 cup Semolina (Suji).

You can take any type of Suji

2/3 cup of Curd (Dahi)

You can take 1/2 cup to 1 cup of curd (as per your preference)

Mix it well

Add a little amount of water

And mix it well

Make it smooth

We have mixed curd and Suji properly.

mixture is thick

Suji will swell up and the mixture will get thicker.

Take 1 cup of finely chopped spinach.

our idli will be very healthy

2 green chilli

Finely chopped

1/2 spoon of grated ginger

1/2 tbsp salt

or as per your taste

Now mix everything properly

Add water to lessen the thickness of the batter.

Consistency of the batter will be similar to the normal idli batter

The batter looks fine.

Leave the batter for 10 min,

so that suji can swell up.

Now we will prepare the stuffing

Take a pan and

heat it.

Add 2 tbsp oil

Add 1/4 tbsp of black mustard (kali sarso) to the hot oil.

1/4 tbsp of cumin seeds (jeera)

1/4 tbsp of turmeric powder

1 finely chopped green chilli.

1/2 tbsp of grated ginger

Fry the mixture.

Add 2 boiled and mashed potatoes.

1/2 tsp of salt or as per your taste.

1/2 tsp of red chilli powder

1/2 tsp of coriander powder

1/4 tsp of amchur powder (dry mango powder)

else you can use chaat masala.

1 tsp of Green peas

Either use fresh peas or frozen peas,

you can avoid peas (if you don’t want them).

You can use only potatoes for stuffing.

Roast the stuffing a little.

Stuffing is ready

Make balls of stuffing in order to stuff it inside the idli.

Make 5 balls of stuffing for 5 Idli.

Use small bowls to make Idli,

grease the bowls.

Put oil in the bowls

and coat them properly.

After keeping the batter for 15 mins,

our batter is ready.

add 1 tsp of Eno fruit salt

or else you can use 1/2 tsp of baking soda.

Add 1 tsp of water over the Eno fruit salt.

It will get active quickly

Mix it well.

Use 1/2 cup of water for making batter.

Start with Idli making process

Take a bowl

Add 2 tsp of batter

Spread it evenly

put 1 ball

of stuffing in the bowl.

add more batter to it.

Likewise, prepare all the other bowls as well.

We have boiled the water to steam the Idli.

and also prepared a lid.

Place all the small bowls inside the big bowl.

You can also use a plate

and place all the bowls over it.

Now cover them with a lid

and cook them for 12 mins.

To check place the knife inside the batter

and pull it out.

If the batter does not stick to the knife,

then idli is ready.

Take the small bowls out of the big one.

scrape the corners with knife.

make them tastier by frying.

Heat the pan and

add 2 tsp of oil

1/2 tsp of black mustard

lower the flame

add 10-12 curry patta

1/4 tsp of turmeric powder

1/4 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp of chilli powder

now mix everything properly

This will make your Idli tasty

now put the Idli in the Pan

and turn off the stove.

turn idli bombs around

to cover the idli with the mixture.

Now we have fried them properly.

Idli is ready to eat

Now our Idli bombs are ready

with these you can eat any type of chutney.
